What is Trap Neuter Return?
Sharjah Cat & Dog Shelter Trap Neuter Return program involves trained staff humanely trapping the cats and bringing them to our clinic at the shelter for spay or neuter surgery and vaccinations. We then return them to their previous location, where we continue to keep a watchful eye on their health and well-being. You may have seen our traps which are clearly marked with our logo and contact details around your local community. Please do not approach or move the traps, there will be a trained worker close by, ready to remove the trap and bring it to the shelter once a cat is inside.
TNR (Trap Neuter Return) is the humane, non-lethal method of population control for outdoor cats and kittens that is more effective than the traditional method of trap and kill.
